Community guidelines
Zogelo works when people treat each other well. Breaking these rules gets your account banned, sometimes permanently.
1. Adults only
You must be 18 or older. If someone looks under 18, end the chat and report them as “Looks under 18”. We act on these reports immediately. Any content that sexualises minors is reported to the authorities.
2. Keep it clothed
No nudity, sexual acts, sexual gestures or sexually explicit talk, and don’t pressure anyone into it.
3. Respect everyone
No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other identity.
4. Be honest about who you are
Use your real gender and age. Don’t pretend to be someone else, a celebrity, or Zogelo staff. Fake genders used to get past other people’s filters are a bannable offence.
5. No spam, scams or selling
No advertising, promoting other apps or channels, asking for money, gifts or payments, phishing, or investment and crypto schemes.
6. Respect privacy
Don’t record, screenshot or share other people without their clear permission. Don’t share anyone else’s personal information.
7. Keep profiles clean
Your name, avatar, bio and hashtags must follow these same rules. Don’t put phone numbers, links, social media usernames or payment details on your profile, and don’t use hashtags to advertise or to hint at sexual content.
8. Friends and calls
Only add people who want to stay in touch, and respect a declined request. Don’t repeatedly call someone who doesn’t answer. If someone makes you uncomfortable, remove or block them.
9. Nothing illegal or dangerous
No violence, weapons, drugs, self-harm encouragement, terrorism, or anything else illegal under Indian law or the law where you are.
How we enforce these rules
Reports from several different people, or a single report that someone looks under 18, lead to an automatic ban while we review it. Our team can also ban accounts directly. Banned accounts lose any remaining Premium time. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement. If you think we made a mistake, contact us.
